The Spanish outfit have reportedly slashed their asking fee for the French winger.

Barcelona is ready to part ways with Ousmane Dembele for a cut-price, a report from Spain has revealed. The Blaugrana is said to be bracing itself to see the attacker depart for just 37 million pounds - almost three times less than the amount paid to sign him from Borussia Dortmund.

Dembele joined Barca in 2017 in a deal worth 135 million, having been tipped as one of the hottest prospects in European football. Nevertheless, despite his remarkable stint with Dortmund, the player has all but failed to live up to expectations following his arrival in Spain.

Bar Dembele's inconsistent run of form, the Frenchman's spell at Camp Nou has been blighted by a series of injuries. The 2019/2020 season has not been an exception with a hamstring injury adding to the nightmare of the winger.

After a successful surgery in February, the attacker was ruled out of action for the rest of the season, having scored just once in nine appearances. His side subsequently signed Martin Braithwaite as his replacement.

In recent years, numerous speculations have hinted at Barcelona offloading the former Dortmund sensation. A new report by TMW has endorsed this, stating that the player will be allowed to leave Los Blaugrana this summer as the team intends to get him off the wage bill.

In terms of cost, the World Cup winner could be purchased with a relatively cheaper amount of 37 million pounds. The said price is a staggering 98 million pounds less than what was paid to secure his service from Dortmund.

French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Ousmane Dembele. The Ligue 1 outfit is expected to make a move for the player this summer.
