Chelsea will hope to secure their place in the round of 16 with a win over Lille on the final matchday. But will a victory be enough? Check out Live Soccer TV's preview for match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings.

Current form: Chelsea vs Lille

Chelsea come into this game following a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Everton over the weekend, and now will need to get back to winning ways quickly. They find themselves in third spot in their quartet, and with Ajax managing to sit on top of the group, the Blues will need to pick up all three points against their struggling visitors in order to ensure their Champions League journey doesn't end early. In addition, they will also be hoping that Ajax beat Valencia to prevent the Spaniards from progressing; for as things stand, should both the Blues and the Spanish outfit finish level on points, it will be Valencia who gets through to the round of 16.

Why? Because they have the better head-to-head record, having pulled off a shock 1-0 win over Chelsea on matchday one at Stamford Bridge earlier this season. So, to put it frankly, Chelsea's fate is not entirely in their hands, and this isn't the position that Frank Lampard's young team wanted to find themselves in this juncture. Unfortunately, they were not able to hang on to their 2-1 lead against Valencia on matchday five, and had to settle for a two-all draw.

Meanwhile, Lille are out of the running for the round of 16, and any hopes of qualifying for the Europa League have quickly evaporated, too. Les Dogues come into this match, however, having won their last three matches on the spin, all by 1-0 score-lines, following their 2-0 loss to Ajax and presently sit in a very solid third place in Ligue 1. Clearly, they have already turned their attention towards domestic affairs after a very poor Champions League campaign but they naturally won't just hand over all three points to Chelsea in their final group stage game.

Team news: Chelsea vs Lille

Chelsea: Ruben Loftus-Cheek is still on the treatment table following a heel issue. Olivier Giroud and young defender Fikayo Tomori will also miss this game. However, Frank Lampard's side have been given a major boost with the return of Antonio Rudiger after his long injury lay-off and should feature in this upcoming game.

Lille: American international Timothy Weah is still a long-term absentee due to a leg injury. In addition, the visitors will be missing Adama Soumaoro as a result of a thigh problem while Reinildo will have to pass a late fitness test following an ankle injury.
