The Uruguayan striker knows that his time at the Camp Nou could be nearing its end, which could see him consider other options for his future.

All good things must come to an end, and Luis Suárez seems to know that he will not get to retire with Barcelona...or at least that's what he hinted in a recent interview with ESPN.

The Uruguayan striker, who will turn 33 in January, has admitted that leaving Barcelona has crossed his mind, especially since he is still a sought-after striker. Furthermore, Suárez has already named his potential destination: the Major League Soccer.

"It's a competition that has been growing for the past few years, and they are hiring young players, especially from South America, to keep improving. That's a demonstration of how they want to see the sport develop, it's not a league where you can go to retire. They want to mix youth with experience to make the league better," Suárez said.

The striker's deal with Barcelona ends in 2021, and with the team seemingly looking for his replacement, Suárez would consider the idea of making it back to America without hesitation, especially since the move could benefit his family.

"Since I was lucky enought to play in the elite for quite a few years, I'd like to provide my family with stability. Living in the U.S. seems like a nice possibility, but I will make that decision once I've consulted with my family. Definitely, the MLS is a league that is quite appealing," Suárez added.

The footballer has scored 185 goals for Los Culés since joining them in 2014, which make him the fourth best striker in team history. Only time will tell how many more he will score when he decides to leave the club, as he clearly shows in the interview.
