Les Parisians would have to do without another influential figure in the side.

Paris Saint-Germain's injury woes refuse to go away with another star set for a spell on the treatment table. On Wednesday the French club confirmed that summer signing Idrissa Gana Gueye will be out of action for up to 10 days after picking up a hamstring injury.

The 30-year-old midfielder completed a move from Everton to the Ligue 1 side in July and has contributed massively in their winning run in all of his eight appearances so far. As things stand, the Senegal international will be unable to feature in the upcoming games against Nice and Club Brugge in the week ahead.

In effect, an official statement from PSG read: "Idrissa Gueye felt hamstring pain and today's exams confirmed a contracture. He will be away from training for the next 10 days."

Gueye joins a tall list of other injured stars which features Thilo Kehrer, Julian Draxler, Colin Dagba and club poster-boy Neymar Jr. The Brazilian winger was ruled out of action for a month after picking up a muscular injury while on international duties with Brazil.

As things stand, the ideal return date for the former Barcelona star is slated for when PSG travels to the Santiago Bernabeu to take on Real Madrid on November 26th.

The team has, however, been boosted with the return of Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani. The pair who missed most of last month's fixtures through injury featured in training on Wednesday.
