Zinedine Zidane will not have one of his favorite players around if things go the way this footballer wants them to.

Zinedine Zidane will face one more headache before the end of the summer transfer window, as one of his most trusted players wants to leave Real Madrid before September 2.

Real Madrid has fallen short in their effort to land some of the players that were specifically requested by the French tactician, and now, they may have to find one more player they had not considered to fill the massive void set to be left by Keylor Navas, who has reportedly asked for a transfer away from the club.

According to Marca, who have made this Thursday's cover story, Navas knows that Thibaut Courtois is going to be Zidane's No.1 choice to guard the net,  which would only see him playing Copa del rey matches or La Liga games where there is nothing to play for. With that in mind, Navas wants a way out of the club before the end of the transfer window.

Navas' decision comes at the worst time ever for Real Madrid, since Zidane urged the club to send Andriy Lunin on loan, so the Ukrainian goalie earned enough playing time. Added to that, the Central American shot-stopper played hard-ball when he had an offer from PSG, which he snubbed after learning he would have to take a paycut.

The footballer's exit would force Los Blancos to face two scenarios. The first one would see them hiring an experienced goalkeeper who's willing to join the team on loan. If that option is not available, then the club would have to promote José Altube as their backup goalie.
