Watch: Salah walks on water in new ad, immediately gets trolled

One person could not help but point out the irony in his recent Adidas ad.

Mohamed Salah has just starred in a recent ad for Adidas ahead of Liverpool's crucial Premier League clash with Arsenal. Given that it features one of football's hottest names, it was destined to trend.

In the video, the Egyptian superstar can be seen standing next to a body of water, presumably a lake. The Anfield hero is seen wearing Adidas shoes, which is a given, and has a ball with him.

After pulling off a few juggles, the 27-year-old kicks the ball across the lake before sprinting on the water to retrieve it. Special effects made this possible, but the message was clear: Salah is a talented player who can do anything. Watch the video in the tweet below.

However, this did not stop Salah from being trolled. The two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner was labeled a diver during his second season in the Premier League, with one fan joking that he stays on his feet on water but fails to do so in the box.

Salah has begun the new campaign with a goal in Liverpool's two opening games. Next up for them is a home clash with Arsenal, another side boasting a perfect start to the campaign.
