How to watch Sevilla vs Liverpool on July 21, 2019 - International Friendly

Sevilla and Liverpool will lock horns in one more friendly match ahead of the 2019-20 season. Sevilla has been one of the most active teams in the summer transfer window, while Liverpool has kept their spending to a minimum after years of splashing cash all around Europe.

Los Hispalenses have had a busy summer, with eight players joining the squad. Sevilla can have high hopes after signing Luuk De Jong and Lucas Ocampos. The cherry on top came when the Andalucian club penned a loan deal with Real Madrid for the highly-rated youngster Sergio Reguilón.

On the other hand, Liverpool has focused on reducing their payroll. Jürgen Klopp urged the team to let four players leave the club, including Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings. The Reds have only signed highly-rated center back Sepp Van den Berg, who is targeted to become Virgil Van Dijk's apprentice in the next couple of years.

This will be Sevilla's second friendly match this summer, following their 2-1 win against Reading. The current UEFA Champions League holders have had a busier pre-season, having played three games up to this point. The Reds kicked off their pre-seasons with wins against Tranmere Rovers (6-0) and Bradford City (3-1), but they eventually lost their most recent match against Borussia Dortmund (3-2).

These teams met in the Group stage of the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League. Curiously, both of those games ended in a draw. The first one ended in a 2-2 draw at Anfield, while the second clash concluded in a last-minute 3-3 tie, thanks to a penalty scored by Sevilla midfielder Guido Pizarro.
