The Landespokal Sachsen, known as the Saxony Cup in English, is one of German football’s 21 regional cup competitions. This tournament is contested by teams from Saxony who play in the 3. Liga, Regionalliga Nordost, the NOFV-Oberliga, the Landesliga Sachsen, and the four Landesklassen. Additionally, the cup winners of Saxony’s 13 districts are granted participation. The Landespokal Sachsen acts as a qualifier for the DFB Pokal, with the champions of this regional tournament earning qualification to Germany’s premier cup competition.
