The Mexican striker was key for El Tri's first-ever win against Germany in both competitive and friendly games, by handing out the assist to Lozano's goal.

We all know that football sparks all sorts of emotions, and judging by what Mexican fans experienced during their game against Germany, we can't even think about judging their players.

Mexico's all-time top scorer, Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, was one of those players who beat Germany 1-0 yesterday, and even if he didn't have the best of games, he provided the assists for Hirving Lozano's game-winning goal, but that's not the reason why he went viral.

The Mexican striker was visibly moved during the nationahl anthems ceremony, especially because it was his first World Cup game as a starter. His reaction during Mexico's anthem, and moments after it concluded, shows just how moved the player was to represent his country.

Rather than making fun of him, Mexican fans praised the player's intensity and made his interpretation of Mexico's anthem viral. Have a look. (Image might be geo-restricted).

"I want a National Anthem just like Mexico's, that gets me going since I saw Chávez's fights, so I could sing it like this. You're the man, Chicharito!"
