Finally!

Tunisia has become the first country from the African continent to score at Russia 2018. The Carthage Eagles got off to a rough start in their opening group game with England after Harry Kane tapped in the Three Lions' opener just 11 minutes into the proceeding.

The plight of the North Africans worsened when their first choice goalkeeper Mouez Hassan was substituted off in the 15th minute following an injury. They, however, had the opportunity to redeem themselves in the 35th-minute after a foul by Kyle Walker on Ben Youssef resulted in a penalty.

Ferjani Sassi subsequently stepped up and buried the ball past England's Jordan Pickford to get Tunisia's and Africa's first goal at the tournament after the likes of Egypt, Morocco and Nigeria had all failed to get on target in their respective opening games.
