The 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup tournament is divided into two groups. Group A contains Brazil, Mexico, Italy and Japan. Group B has Spain, Uruguay, Nigeria and Tahiti. As of the date of ESPN’s fixtures list announcement, May 9, the FIFA World Ranking sees Spain on top of the chart above Italy (8th), Mexico (16th), Uruguay (17th), Brazil (19th), Nigeria (28th), Japan (30th) and Tahiti (135th).
Thirteen of the 16 matches will be streamed live on both ESPN and Watch ESPN. This package includes the grand finale, the two semi-finals and 10 group stage battles such as Spain vs Uruguay, Brazil vs Mexico, and Nigeria vs Spain among others.
Note that WatchESPN will telecast all matches apart from Italy vs Brazil at 14:30 EST on Saturday, June 22, 2013. This blockbuster clash will be available on ESPNEWS. Meanwhile, ESPN2 will assume live coverage for two fixtures: Uruguay vs Tahiti at 14:30 EST on Sunday, June 23 and the Third-Place match at 11:45am EST on Sunday, June 30.
