Mbappe's mother raises concerns about son's treatment at PSG

Kylian Mbappe might be enjoying the time of his life with the France national team, but it's his PSG career that has his close ones worried. According to El Pais, the teenage superstar's treatment in Ligue 1 has garnered concern from his mother, Fayza Lamar.

The promising attacker won the league and cup double in Paris last season but has faced hardship since joining from Monaco last summer. The report claims that the biggest issue for the player's mother is his interactions with two of his club team-mates: Neymar and Dani Alves.

Lamari is mostly upset by the Brazilian duo's habit of mocking the Frenchman's appearance. The Selecao men often call the 19-year-old "Donatello", which is a reference to one of the famous Ninja Turtles. Mbappe had even been given a mask of the famous TV show character in the dressing room back in November.

El Pais states that this nickname continues to persist in the PSG camp despite his disliking of it. On top of that, the Frenchman was reportedly involved in a heated bust-up with the world's most expensive player, but for an issue unrelated to his nickname.

The article writes that the teenager felt the Brazilian was deliberately not passing to him in a match against Toulouse back in February. Mbappe confronted the former Barcelona man in the dressing room which led to an unpleasant exchange.

Interestingly, this report has coincided with Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid exit. With the departure of the Portuguese icon, a Galactico is needed at the Santiago Bernabeu, a role that Kylian has been linked with numerous times before.

As for now, his main focus is on the World Cup. After Les Bleus' 1-0 victory over Belgium on Tuesday, the European giant secured their progression to the final, where they will battle it out with either Croatia or England for the title.
