Bundesliga - Matchday 14 overview
Reigning champs Bayern Munich find themselves sitting in second spot heading into matchday 14. Die Roten are three points behind surprise leaders RB Leipzig and will be looking to capitalize of Wolfsburg's bad form. Unfortunately, this has been an awful season for die Wölfe, who have earned a shocking ten points and are just three points away from the dreaded relegation zone. It goes without saying that they will need to quickly turn things around in order to salvage a poor campaign that has led some key players to try to force an exit.
In any case, last year, this same fixture saw Robert Lewandowski make history. The Polish striker was brought on when Bayern were 1-0 down and absolutely blitzed Wolfsburg to net a whopping five goals in just nine - yes, nine - minutes. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have been slowly closing the gap on a Champions League berth. They will be feeling confident after scoring a record-setting 21 goals in their current Champions League adventure, but could face a tricky test on the road against a Köln side who have been having a pretty solid season.
