Mourinho's jinx with the FA seems to have followed him Old Trafford.

The English FA has found Jose Mourinho guilty of misconduct after he claimed that referee Anthony Taylor would find it difficult to officiate Man Utd’s game vs Liverpool. Mourinho was quoted by the press talking about the appointment of the Manchester-based referee for the Premier League match between the two old rivals which was played on October 17.

The outspoken tactician is said to have broken the rule that requires managers not to speak about referees prior to matches. As a result, the 53-year-old has up to October 31 to respond to the charge of proper misconduct and bringing disrepute into the game. The confirmed the charge via their official Twitter handle.

A section of Liverpool fans had blasted the FA for appointing a referee who lives in Manchester to officiate the biggest game in English football – Liverpool vs Man Utd. The game ended in a goalless draw at Anfield, and Taylor issued four yellow cards.

This is not the first time Mourinho has been charged by the FA - he was charged 40,000 British pounds in November for refusing to leave the officials’ changing room and verbally abusing referee Jon Moss’ at half time as the Blues lost to West Ham United. He also faced similar charges in October last year when he blasted the referees for failing to give Chelsea a penalty when they lost to 3-1 to Southampton.
