In football, certain celebrations may land you a booking. For example, taking of your shirt, jumping into the crowd, or even wasting time will earn a player a yellow card.
The bookable celebration list now has a new entry: twerking. Yes, bending your knees and shaking your butt will get your name in the referee’s book. However, it appears to only be true in North America so far.
This is what Kei Kamara found out on Sunday. After finding the back of the net in the 71st minute of the 3-0 win over Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer, the New England Revolution began twerking.
The match official, though, was not having it, digging into his pocket and booking the 32-year-old. Watch it in the video below.
