Neymar will stay at Barcelona in the next five season, the club's president has revealed.

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has announced that Brazilian forward Neymar is set to sign a five-year contract with the Spanish club. The 24-year-old has been a top transfer target for Premier League side Manchester United and their French counterparts Paris Saint-Germain over the past few years but the Catalan side are keen on keeping him at the club until 2021.Neymar-Barcelona

Speaking about the rumors linking the superstar with a move away from the Nou Camp this summer, Bartomeu said:

''On these Neymar rumours I want to make something clear

''Neymar does not want to leave Barcelona and we do not want him to leave.

''In the next few days we will be able to officially announce a new contract for five years.

''His new contract will be for five seasons and we will make sure everything is correct.''

The Brazil captain had also been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu to join FCB’s biggest rivals in La Liga, Real Madrid. Los Blancos had attempted to sign controversially in him in 2011 but failed. He then agreed to join Barca in 2013 and has since scored 55 league goals in 93 appearances for Luis Enrique’s side. At the international level for his country, he has scored 46 goals in 70 appearances since making his debut in 2010.
