Arsenal's player has scored three goals in the tournament for La Roja, a team that wants to win its second continental tournament in a row.

With their eyes set on the 2016 Copa América Centenario title, Chile's wingman Alexis Sanchez sent a heart-felt message to all of La Roja's supporters via his Instagram account.

In the message, where he is seen relaxing alongside Claudio Bravo, Arturo Vidal and Gary Medel, Sánchez criticized those who believe that Los Andinos won the most recent edition of the tournament only because they were hosts. Furthermore, he bolstered the team's chances of winning the competition one more time, even if Lionel Messi's Argentina has been deemed as the favorite to take the cup home.

Here is what Sánchez told his followers on Instagram.

"I don't care about what people think about us. We know what we've been through, we know the amount of tears we've cried and how hard we've fought to keep ourselves up and smile again"

Sánchez is expected to lead Chile's attack against Argentina, with the help of the tournament's goal scoring leader Edu Vargas.
