Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona have unveiled their new kit ahead of the new season.

Barcelona have officially unveiled their new kit for the 2016/17 season and there is something special about it. According to the Catalan club, the design of the new kit has been inspired by the 1991/92 squad that won the club’s first European Cup at Wembley by beating Serie A outfit Sampdoria 1-0 thanks to a goal by Southampton manager Ronald Koeman.

The kit consists of the traditional red and blue colors, with lighter shades of the same hues. It also has thinner tonal stripes taper close to the hem, which makes it almost similar to the one used by the title-winning squad of 1991/92 under the legendary Johan Cruyff.
