For the third time in history, Poland has qualified for the Euro campaign. They will face Germany, Ukraine and Northern Ireland in the group stage.

Poland's UEFA Euro history

In 2008, Poland finally qualified for their first ever UEFA European Championship. They co-hosted the tournament four years later. The Polish national team was eliminated in the 2008 Euro campaign after losing their opening game 2-0 to Germany and drawing the following match against Austria. They were sent home after doubling their loss in their third match against Croatia, finishing in the bottom position of their group. The Polish national football team also ended up at the bottom of their group in the 2012 edition after drawing against Greece and Russia and losing to the Czech Republic. The White Eagles will be determined to survive in the group stages, this time around.

Recent form

In the past 12 months, Poland has enjoyed a good run, winning seven out of their ten matches. Lewandowski and Co. have managed to remain unbeaten in their most recent four Euro qualifying games, yet fell short against Germany, losing 3-1. As of May 2016, Nawałka's lads hold the 27th spot in the FIFA World Rankings.
