Reports claim that the Bavarians new coach wants to reunite with his former player at Real Madrid if Robert Lewandowski ends up leaving this summer.

Javier Hernández's moment with Bayer Leverkusen could come to a close next summer, as a former manager wants to add him to his new venture in the Bundesliga. Reports from German newspaper Tz suggest that Carlo Ancelotti, who will be taking over as Bayern Munich's boss this summer, has added "Chicharito" to his transfer wishes, considering Robert Lewandowski's uncertain future with Die Roten.

Ancelotti and Hernández worked together last season with Real Madrid, with the Italian manager using the currently in-form striker mostly as a substitute.

The Mexican striker scored nine goals in all competitions for Los Blancos during his not-so-successful loan spell under Ancelotti.

Hernández arrived during summer's transfer deadline day to Bayer Leverkusen, and has scored 13 goals in 18 games for Die Werkself in the Bundesliga. Furthermore, he's enjoying his most prolific season as a professional, having scored 22 goals in all competitions.

Prior to coaching "Chicharito" at Real Madrid, Ancelotti's teams suffered whenever facing the Mexican striker, as he used to score crucial goals against Chelsea when the Italian boss managed The Blues.

Considering his performance this season, a number of teams have allegedly shown interest in signing the Mexican striker, including Premier League sides such as Liverpool and Arsenal. "Chicharito's" contract with Bayer Leverkusen ends in 2018, and his buyout clause stands at 10 million euros.
