The Catalunyan coach is expected to reveal his decision before the Bundesliga's winter break. Guardiola's contract ends in the summer of 2016.

Bayern Munich's execs are seemingly tired of waiting for Pep Guardiola to make a decision about his future. Today, the team's director made it clear that Die Roten will not worry if the former Barcelona boss leaves them next summer, since life goes on and someone else will be able to lead them to glory.

"No one is irreplaceable. It's the circle of life, players come and go and so do coaches. If he ends up leaving, there will be another exceptional coach to lead a talented team. We are not worried about his decision," Rummenigge stated.

Guardiola's three-year contract with Bayern expires next summer, and given his prosperous career, he has been linked with a number of clubs. Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have been named as his possible destinations.

The former player and Guardiola have had a complicated relationship in the past two years, with Rummenigge criticizing the coach's decisions on and off the pitch, such as his arguments with the former team doctor or players like Mario Götze and Thomas Müller.

Rummenigge recalled how media and fans blasted the team for letting legendary defender Franz Beckenbauer go back in the 70's, backing his thoughts about how Pep could be replaced if he decides not to continue with the current Bundesliga champions.

"Back in 1977, fans and media thought that Beckenbauer's departure was something like the end of the world, but their anger lasted three months and that was it. You have to keep moving forward, no one is irreplaceable," the exec added.

Guardiola is expected to meet with Bayern's top men after the game against Hannover on December 19th, and the world will know once and for all if he will keep coaching Bayern. If he decides to leave, former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has been named as the front runner to lead Bayern's project for the 2016-2017 season.
