The Uruguayan striker believes some fans don't remember how last season started, when they were barely winning games and ended with all major trophies.

Luis Suarez wants Barcelona's loyal fans to cut them some slack. After a complicated start to the season, the Uruguayan striker can't believe some of the team's supporters end up booing them just because they were not able to win against Celta and Sevilla.

"It makes no sense to me. Last year, with the treble and all, everything was wonderful, but now, it seems like if everyone forgot what we can do. Being booed just because we lost one game doesn't make any sense," Suarez stated.

Suarez has scored six goals in eleven competitive matches for Barcelona this season.

Suárez compared last season's start with this one, while he asked fans to be more supportive when things are not going their way.

"We are not showing all of our goal scoring power, but that isn't something new. Last season,we were hardly winning games and everyone doubted us, but things turned around during the second semester and everything was spectacular," the Uruguayan added.

Finally, the South American striker referred to Lionel Messi's absence with Los Blaugranas. According to Suárez, the team has to get used to not having him around, in order to get out of the current funk the team is undergoing.

"Leo makes things a lot easier, but now that he's not available, we have to work hard to make it as easy as possible. It's our job, our responsibility, and we have to work out a way of keeping our good form without him," he concluded.

Barcelona will host Rayo Vallecano this Saturday, once the International break ends.
