Jonathan Barnett revealed today that there is no animosity between the two stars, and he even hinted there are things his client could learn from the Portuguese ace.

Even though they're not the best team-mates in the world, there's no animosity between Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo. According to Bale's agent, his client and CR7 get along just fine, despite the differences between one another.

Rumors of a bad relationship between the two emerged soon after the Portuguese striker criticized Bale on the pitch for not passing the ball to him, when CR7 had a clear chance of scoring.

“They don’t go out eating every night together, but it’s fine,” said Barnett. “There’s no hatred there. Gareth is a quiet guy. They’re complete opposites. But I think Gareth can learn a little bit from Ronaldo as well, interacting maybe a little bit. But he wants his own life and he lives it. Gareth is a great footballer, he doesn’t want anything more," his agent claimed.

CR7 complains after Gareth Bale failed to assist him during a match last season.

Speaking about his client's performance so far, Barnett looked back at how Bale played with former Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, stating that Rafa Benitez's tacticts might end up being just what his client needs to be considered among the best in the world.

"Gareth’s now playing in a better position, more centrally, where he wants to play. I’ve always said it, I think he’ll be the best player in the world in the next couple of years,” the agent added.

Bale became Wales' leader during the Euro 2016 Qualifiers, helping his National team to reach their first major tournament since 1958.
