Cristiano Ronaldo will be picking his fourth Golden Boot this Tuesday. With 48 goals in 35 games, Ronaldo beat Lionel Messi who ended the season with 43 goals.

Ronaldo will become the first player to ever receive the boot four times since the award was created back in 1968. The ceremony will take place in at Madrid's hotel palace and it is presented by Marca as a member of European Sports Media (ESM).
In 2012, Lionel Messi set the all-time scoring record with 50 goals in a single season. The winner of the trophy is not only based on goals, but also on the difficulty of the league as it is ranked in Uefa's coefficients chart.
