USA and Germany will clash at the Stade Olympique in the Women's World Cup semi-final on Tuesday, the 30th of June. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for USWNT vs Germany below.

The two heavyweights will clash in what is expected to be a scintillating clash. USA earned a hard fought victory in their quarter-final clash through a solitary goal from captain Carli Lloyd who scored in the 51st minute to give her side the victory.

However what awaits the USWNT now is a clash against the number one side in the world and even though it seems like a daunting task to get the better of them, defender Ali Krieger is confident her side can live up to the challenge.

"Every team that we've played has been tough," Krieger said. "That is what this tournament is all about. I'm so happy that we're playing against the No. 1 team in the world. I think this is what makes it so fun. We want to beat the best team."

USA were against a very defensive China side in their last clash but now face a much more overwhelming challenge as they face a German side which has scored 20 goals in just five matches. Their attack is spearheaded by the tournament's top scorer Celia Sasic who has scored six goals whereas teammate Anja Mittag is in second with five.

USA midfielder Morgan Brian is aware of the task at hand but is confident in the abilities of her teammates as well.

"Germany is going to be a different game," midfielder Morgan Brian said.

"I think we're going to go at them, they're going to come at us — it's just going to be very free flowing, which opens a lot of space."

"They're good 1v1 attacking, they can shoot from anywhere and they're strong in the air as well. They love to play one-, two-touch football, so I think we just have to be aware of it."

Germany's road to the semi-final on the other hand was not as straight forward as they had to endure 120 minutes of football against France, which ended in a penalty shoot out. The German's were able to win 5-4 thanks to heroics from goalkeeper Nadine Angerer who earned the praise from her teammate Dzsenifer Marozsan.

“We all know what she’s capable of. She gives you that little bit of extra confidence,” Germany striker Dzsenifer Marozsan told FIFA.com.

The German captain on the other hand spoke of her success in penalty shoot outs claiming that it is largely based on intuition rather than any tactics.

“All I think about when I stand on the line is keeping out the next penalty. I don’t have a method. I just wait for as long as possible, choose the right side and dive. There aren’t any tactics. It’s just intuition," she said.
