Arsenal vs Chelsea was always going to be a game with several talking points after the full time whistle came down, whether it was the title race, a top three finish, or just about the shear awesomeness of the talented players on the pitch.
The game at the Emirates did gather much attention, but for a totally different reason however. Social media and the post-match talks were dominated by the issue of poor officiating from referee Michael Oliver.
The first 45 minutes of the game witnessed a whopping four penalty shouts, however, the referee failed to award a single spot kick. To be far on the referee, some of those complaints were debatable, but at least two should have been given by Michael Oliver.
In the early minutes of the game, Chelsea midfielder Oscar fell to the ground inside the Gunners’ penalty box after receiving contact from Hector Bellerin, but the Blues were denied an opportunity to take the lead.
Shortly afterward, the Brazilian ace was involved in another penalty claim when goalkeeper David Ospina crashed into the 23-year-old in an attempt to catch the ball, though he lobbed the ball over the custodian. Oscar was later taken to hospital after the match due to concussion.

In the 23rd minute, Cesc Fabregas, who was booed non-stop by the home crowd, was booked for alleged diving after hitting the ground from a Santi Cazorla challenge. Lastly, with the first-half nearing its end, a shot from Cazorla came off Gary Cahill’s end in an attempt to block the strike, sending the Arsenal players mad.

Then there was this handball by Gary Cahill at the opposite end of the pitch

HALF-TIME at the Emirates. Not a bad game, but no goals yet. Also, the referee might be drunk. We're looking into it. #AFCvCFC
