According to Kicker, the long-serving French manager will be handed other responsibilities in order for the German coach to take over as Arsenal boss.

Ever since Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp announced he will leave Signal Iduna Park this summer, rumors have been circulating regarding his next destination, with a move to the English Premier League being heavily favored.

Clubs such as Manchester City, reported to be looking for Manuel Pellegrini’s replacement, and Liverpool, who appear unable to make the Champions League this season under Brendan Rodgers, are believed to be after the 47-year-old German manager’s services.

But they are not alone. North London side Arsenal are also tipped as a likely suitor for Klopp, with a huge portion of the Gunners faithful hoping he replaces Arsene Wenger as the club’s manager.

So much has talk of Jurgen Klopp to the Emirates been, it sparked an angry response from Le Prof in a press conference. Now, amid this, German publication Kicker report that the Gunners board will hand Wenger other responsibilities at the club in order for the former Monaco boss to make way for Jurgen.

Fans have long been calling for the 65-year-old French tactician to leave, with the Wenger Out trend hitting new heights this season, especially after their 3-3 draw with Anderlecht and 3-1 loss at home to Monaco.

However, Wenger has weathered the storm and turned around Arsenal's fortunes in the league, having guided them to second spot, whilst also seeing the London side to a second consecutive FA Cup final.

However, fear is that by the time Wenger decides to hang up his boots as Arsenal manager, Klopp, adored by the Emirates fan base, would have already signed for another club and be unavailable.

Should Arsene call it quits and vacate the coaching seat for Jurgen?
