With many calling for the Arsenal boss to resign, Henry admitted he would love to succeed the French manager.

Thierry Henry's legendary status at Arsenal has already been cemented, literally, The club's all-time leading scorer with 228 goals, the 37-year-old has a statue at the Emirates to forever treasure his contribution to the club.

One of the world's most feared striker back in his Arsenal days, the former France striker won numerous trophies and accolades whilst in north London, claiming two English Premier League titles and three FA Cup trophies.

However, could his popularity among the Arsenal faithful further increase by returning to the club as a manager?

This is a possibility. Already coaching the youngsters, Henry told The Jonathan Ross Show he would agree to become manager in a heartbeat, claiming it is a dream of his to one day coach the Gunners. The World Cup winner, however, admitted he needs time to learn the ropes.

"The thing that I will say is, I don't know what Arsene wants to do and how long he will stay, I just want to be equipped to be in the position one day maybe to be a manager," Henry revealed.

"Being the manager of Arsenal Football Club will be a dream, but let's all be honest, I need to learn first, that's the most important thing.

"It's not because you know the game that you can teach it and I just want to learn."

When asked whether he would accept the coaching position from Wenger, Titou said: "I can't say no to Arsenal, so I would say yes."

This comes at a time when Le Prof's position at the club has once again come under huge scrutiny. After their 3-1 home loss to Monaco in the Champions League, fans have been calling for the 65-year-old to step down.
