With all the dates yet to be confirmed, Los Blaugranas will play against Mexican side Monterrey to open their new stadium between July 18-20.

After a four-year absence, FC Barcelona confirmed they will play some of their preseason matches in the United States and Mexico. Despite dates not yet being set, the club has made official the news that the blaugranes will be returning to American soil for the fourth time in the last ten years.

Los Cules will return to the American continent for the first time since 2011, when they visited Washington, Miami and Dallas. This will be their first time in Mexico since 2006, when they visited the Northern city of Monterrey.

Barca's visit to Mexico will have two stops. With the dates yet to be confirmed, the club will be opening the new stadium for Mexican team Rayados de Monterrey. Their other stop would be historic Estadio Azteca, where they will probably play against the current Liga MX champions, Club America. Both teams share sponsors with Los Blaugranas, so it is safe to say those brands were involved in taking Luis Enrique's team back to Mexico.

Los Angeles and San Francisco are the U.S. venues considered for this trip, while a third city could be added to the tour. Their possible opponents could be either Chelsea, Juventus or Manchester United, but the team's agenda will be determined in the next few months, according to the team's website
