Real Madrid's coach complained about the President's remarks, since he feels the prize should be won by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Joseph Blatter's words about the World Cu Golden Ball were not taken lightly by Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian manager felt annoyed by Blatter's point of view, since he feels his words may influence those who will vote for this year's Ballon D'Or.

"His words really surprise me, but what can we do? It's impossible to shut FIFA's President up. The Ballon D'Or is always a subject for controversy, but this year I think there is no doubt, because last year, we had Ribery and Messi competing against Cristiano Ronaldo and he won. Now, after winning important trophies with us and scoring a lot of goals, I have no doubt Cristiano should win it. That's why Blatter's words don't make any sense to me," Ancelotti blasted.

Real Madrid's coach answered ironically about what these words may mean, since he is also nominated for the Coach of the Year award.

"I'm proud to be nominated and of course I would like to win, but my most appreciated award will always be winning the Champions League. I have a small replica back home and we have the big one at the stadium. If I keep on winning things, I will have to make a bigger trophy room at home," the coach added.
