Weekly Saturday Show on NBCSportsRadio.com and the NBC Sports Radio Mobile App; The Show Includes Insight and Analysis on Premier League and International Soccer

NBCSportsRadio.com debuts its first-ever digital-only show, The 2 Robbies “Football” Show, a Premier League-focused program starring NBC Sports Group analysts Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe, this Saturday, October 25 at 5 p.m. ET.

The weekly one-hour Saturday show follows NBC Sports Group’s live Premier League match coverage, and will stream live from NBC Sports Group’s state-of-the-art International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. The 2 Robbies “Football” Show will focus on the Premier League and international soccer, featuring commentary and analysis from Earle and Mustoe, who will take calls and answer questions from listeners. The show will also feature interviews with top names in the sport, including current and former players, managers and analysts.

Each Saturday at 5 p.m. ET during Premier League season, The 2 Robbies “Football” Show will stream on NBCSportsRadio.com and the NBC Sports Radio mobile app, with replays on-demand on both platforms. The NBC Sports Radio mobile app is available at the App Store for iOS devices, and on select devices within Google Play.

Since NBC Sports Group kicked off its unprecedented Premier League coverage in August 2013, Earle and Mustoe have worked alongside host Rebecca Lowe and fellow analyst Kyle Martino on Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows, Goal Zone, Match of the Day, and Match of the Day II, which provide in-depth analysis, post-match interviews, reactions from the day’s matches and highlights with match commentators.

"As the game continues to grow here in the U.S., I think it’s important we give the American soccer fan a voice too,” said Earle. “There will be no scripts or prompting, on this program Robbie Mustoe and I will discuss only topics that the fans want to debate."

“More comment, more opinion on the beautiful game from Robbie Earle and myself,” said Mustoe. “We are looking forward to the opportunity to get football fans involved by taking viewer calls and hearing thoughts from fans across the country.”

“With the Premier League more popular than ever in the U.S., we are excited to present this new program to soccer fans across the country,” said Rob Simmelkjaer, SVP, NBC Sports Ventures. “We are looking forward to Robbie and Robbie entertaining our listeners with their wit, expertise and analysis following the first day of each Premier League weekend.”

A former Jamaican national team player and Premier League star, Earle has worked as a color commentator for NBC Sports Group’s Major League Soccer coverage and as an analyst for BBC, ITV, Sky, the Portland Timbers and ESPN. During his soccer career, Earle played in more than 600 league games and scored approximately 150 goals.

Mustoe, a former Premier League midfielder, has served as a soccer analyst for ESPN, and in 2012, the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine. In 2010, Mustoe was a match analyst for ESPN’s presentation of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. Mustoe made his Football League debut with Oxford United in the 1986–87 season, and played nearly 100 league matches for the club. He joined Middlesbrough FC in 1990, and became a consistent player for the team for 12 years. Mustoe had played in over 450 matches – including three Wembley Cup Finals – for Middlesbrough.
