The Chilean goalkeeper will risk his clean sheet record of 720 minutes against the top scoring offense in La Liga.

Claudio Bravo is eager to show what he can do in next Saturday's Clasico. The Chilean goalkeeper, who has already entered Barcelona's history with his clean sheet record, claims he is as calm as ever to play his first game with Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

“Stage fright? I don’t think so. Rather than the Santiago Bernabeu being imposing I’m more motivated than ever to be playing at such a place. Playing against Ronaldo and the like is something that also motivates me and brings out my ambition and hunger," the goalie stated.

Bravo, who just signed with Barcelona after spending his last seasons defending Real Sociedad, believes he can't slow down his efforts in order to keep Barca's goalkeeping gig.

“No way do I believe I’m first choice here. I don’t consider myself No 1 for my country, nor did I think it when I was with Real Sociedad, or even before landing in Europe. I always try to earn the right to play because the day I feel I’m first choice will be the day when it might make me more complacent,” the Chilean added.

The goalkeeper reflected on his season so far, and credited the club and his teammates for his quick adaptation.

“My adaptation has been positive in every aspect and coming here has filled me with enormous joy. I’ve also come to a city that is tailored to meet all your family’s needs, so you appreciate that and it makes your life so much easier,” Bravo ended.
