Rogerio Ceni can clearly convert from the spot...but how often does one see a goalie score a free-kick?

Yesterday, a Brazilian player netted his 123rd goal as Sao Paulo battled to a 2-1 win against Bahia, leaving his club just a few points behind league leaders Cruzeiro.

Now, this wouldn't be the most noteworthy thing, save for two key things about Rogerio Ceni. First of all, he's 41-year-old and clearly still going strong. But more important and impressive is his position on the pitch.

See, Ceni is not a striker. Let alone a midfielder, or even a high-scoring defender. No, rather his job is to prevent the opposing team from scoring by any means possible and is the only man on his team allowed to use his hands as well as his feet.

The veteran 'keeper scored an amazing free-kick, and it's quite telling to his ability from set pieces as players like former Milan star Kaka were also on the pitch at the time that the incident occurred, yet the 2007 Ballon d'Or winner opted to let his teammate step up and have a go at it.

Check out his free-kick below. Might make some strikers jealous with this great effort:

Amazingly, Ceni's also quite comfortable from the penalty spot, as he has shown time and time again during his lengthy career.
