Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid is one of the most heated derbies in the world of football. When the Spanish capital's two most successful clubs lock horns, tempers flare.

And the stats back it. Los Rojiblancos became the first team to receive two bookings in the first 12 minutes of a Super Cup clash when they drew 1-1 at Santiago Bernabeu, with the second leg at the Vicente Calderon stadium producing eight yellow cards.

Then there was Luka Modric's stoppage time red card after he received his second booking of the night, whilst it only took 25 minutes for Argentine boss Diego Simeone to get sent to the stands.

A vine posted by FANSIDED's Mike Dyce on Twitter shows what appears to be the Real Madrid ace punching Uruguayan center-back Diego Godin. As to whether it was an intentional foul or an accidental collision, none is yet known, but Cristiano Ronaldo ended up with a booking after that tussle with the Atletico Madrid man.
