Arsenal won their first game of the season with a goal by Aaron Ramsey in the final minutes of the match against Crystal Palace.

According to several sources, PSG’s Edinson Cavani would have his desire to leave the team satisfied, since Arsenal would be willing to pay 40 million euros plus Olivier Giroud for his services.

There had been speculation that any move to sell the 27 year old Uruguayan had been shelved due a rib injury suffered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the weekend however a move that would see Giroud join the Ligue 1 side could be one Laurent Blanc considers.

Sources indicate Cavani is not happy playing under the shadow of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and would be willing to leave the French city to play at Emirates Stadium. On the other hand, Giroud would satisfy his desire to move back to his home country, considering last season was tough on the former Montpellier player and even his wife encouraged the striker to accept any offer that implied moving back to France.

Arsenal are very interested in a player that can add depth to their attacking unit. Cavani can play both as a striker or a wingman, and coach Arsene Wenger has expressed his interest in the Uruguayan player, fueling rumors surrounding the player's future.
