The Swiss midfielder admits that he's pleased by reports of interest from other sides including Liverpool and Juventus.

Despite having now spent two seasons at Bayern Munich, Xherdan Shaqiri has found it hard to secure a concrete spot in the starting XI under the two managers he's had so far.

The Swiss international notably netted a hat-trick at this year's World Cup as his team cruised to victory over Honduras and although he has yet to join up with his die Roten teammates, speculation is rife that his future may lie away from the Allianz Arena.

The 22-year-old has attracted the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Liverpool and Juventus, and the player has done little to quell speculation that he just might opt to try his luck outside Germany--despite the Bundesliga champions repeatedly stating that they have no wish to sell him.

"Juventus could be a good option [just like] Liverpool and Monaco," he was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.

"They are a big club, who wouldn't like to play there? I'm a Bayern player but I wouldn't see Bianconeri as a step backward for my career."

Swapping die Roten for the Bianconeri? Shaqiri hasn't ruled out a move to Italy per se

However, he was quick, of course to point out:

"I'm [on] holiday and I don't know whether Juventus have been in touch with Bayern, [since] I have not heard anything about it from [either of them]."
