The game between Senegal and Poland was one of the most interesting up to this date in the FIFA World Cup. The game ended with a 2-1 score in favor of the African side, but their first WC win since 2002 arrived with some controversy.
M'Baye Niang made his goalscoring debut in this competition right at the 60th-minute mark, but he did so moments after being allowed by the ref to come back in after having medical assistance. Grzegorz Krychowiak sent a backwards pass without noticing Niang's re-entry to the pitch, and thanks to Szczesny's antics away from the goal, Niang took advantage of his speed and skills to tap the ball in.
After coming off injured, Niang is waved on by the referee and almost immediately wins the ball and scores. #SEN pic.twitter.com/5Z28h0wv49

Some believe that the goal shouldn't have been allowed to stand, but in the end, Senegal walked off with all the points despite Krychowiak's late goal.
Now, Senegalese fans are replicating their team's celebration, as their chances to make it to the next stage have been given a massive boost.
